... and because of that there are understandable fears about the effects that the 3DS, and other exposure to 3D sources, can have both on the still-developing eyes of children, and the long term effects of adult health.
Over the coming years, scientists are undoubtedly going to be conducting plenty of experiments tracking and tracing the effects of 3D devices on the world's vision. An unfortunate, but likely, side effect will be that some of those studies will come down on the side that it is harmless, while some will say that it is harmful. Can 3D cause damage to your vision? Only time will tell.
